C7Carbon | Rear Diffuser - Race Ed. Undertray | 3D Design, let us know your thoughts!

Hello again!
We are currently working on an awesome project for the C7 Corvette Rear diffuser that we are excited in sharing with you all; the Race Edition Undertray.
It will be available in exposed Carbon Fiber and Carbon Flash finish options, this sharp and aggressive addition to your OEM diffuser will give your Corvette that C7 Race look that will definitely turn heads were ever your Corvette will go, whether its daily driving, track, race events and shows.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this 3D design to help make it just right for you. Let us know your thoughts, we look forward to it!

Interesting...

Not sure how I feel about it yet.

I like where yalls head is at, though. This rear end is made to have some mega awesome rear diffusor options, so I like more and more being offered. Factory slope only is boring as shit.

Love this. Please make it for the widebody at a reasonable price and I'll be your first customer and/or test mule

Only thing I'm unsure about is carbon flash to match the rear bumper cover or exposed carbon. :yesnod:

Also, please make some sort of clean end on the bottom corners. I'm not sure I like the way it ends short. It looks like it doesn't fit.

At least something like this, if not a cleaner finish. I also wouldn't mind if it was a 2 piece deal, without the center part under the exhaust. Double layering like that makes it seem like a tacky add on.

Love the design! Can't wait to see it in Carbon Fiber....

Thank you for your input guys! we're taking notes of your suggestions :)

Looks great! I need one

wouldnt really want to pay for the extra piece under the exhaust. how much of an aero benefit would there be from having it vs not?

And how does it affect rear diff cooling.

Very interesting! I like it because it is a very fresh new look that adds to just the fins only apporach. My suggestion would be to cut the overlap at the ends. by cutting back a couple of inches, you want the edge of that wing to "almost" but up the the rear vents housing. Overlap always makes things look "aftermarket" to me.
Have your products and very pleased with them!

Thanks for the input guys! We let our design department know that they have the green light to go ahead and start the 3D Print of the design so we can get some concept pictures of the prototype on the car within 2 weeks. Stay tuned :)

I don't think it would since its not interfering with the rear vent. However if it increases airflow near that vent, it might actually help by creating a draw of air there.

Like so many aero items, more for looks since they only become effective above 100mph. It would be nice to get some aero tests, like getting some coast down measurements ( Car and Driver used to do that years ago and it was very informative !)

Perhaps even a curl up towards the end of the wing edge.

Can you make the middle underbelly start further back so it's not visible (unless you're laying down on the ground I guess).

Thanks again for the input guys! 3D printing has begun, we'll make sure to keep you posted on the 3D prototype print progress
