Unless Dennis sells you a unit that a camera can be added to...which works great and you get better sound!

If we change out the radio
we can add not only a rear camera but a front camera as well.
The advantages of changing out the radio are

improved sound quality
Carplay and Android Auto Features
BT if you do not have it
streaming of music
DVD
ect

I am running preorder specials on the new Kenwood DDX9904S for 649.99

package includes
Kenwood DDX9904S
harness
dash kit
antenna adatper
front camer
rear camera
prewired
shipping

This one has both Android Auto and Apple Carplay plus it has the capacitive touch screen for best viewing

BOTTOM one in this pic is radio
Attachment 48121548

I am in process today of putting direct preorder links on website.
till then a simple call to me will be all it takes to ask questions and find out more info plus place preorders

Dennis,
I am very interested in this. I currently have a 2006 Coupe with Bose and Nav. I assume that I can use maps from my iPhone for navigation. What other items would I need to install this? Thank you

I have a similar model Kenwood, but from an earlier year. I love everything about it, and especially in a convertible, the capacitive touch screen is a must have. You can't go wrong with this setup.

I forgot to mention that I also have XM Radio. Will this setup handle that as well?

Also, will I have to go to a dealer to have anything done?

I have a Kenwood in my Grand Sport that I ordered from Dennis with front and rear cameras.....I love having them....has save my front bumper on several occasions and also make backing much easier...Dennis is a great guy to deal with and has excellent customer service after the sale....always willing to answer questions and help.

I love my Kenwood head unit. There are connectors and install kits that make it plug and play. Routing the wiring is a bit fun but its worth it.

Check out the postings for NavTool. You basically add an additional inline board to your existing Nav radio via ribbon cables and mine works great with no problems. It not easily plug and play but really not bad once you learn how the connectors work. There are a bunch of great posts on it.

Dennis - I called, and left a message with someone up there, but never got a call back. Do you still have this system available? When is a good time to call you, and discuss this? Thank you

PCMusicGuy 07-24-2017 09:36 AM

How long does it take the backup camera image to appear after putting it in reverse? How about right when you start up the car? I would think my car would be running and in gear before the head unit would even finish booting no?
