Floor Jack Questions

Hello all,

I am looking to get a new floor jack to get some work done on my garage! I will be working on a 2001 Corvette I have and an SUV.

I am looking at a "Best floor jacks" list but not sure how good they are. What do y'all think?

https://floorjackscenter.com/best-floor-jacks/

Hoping to find one that can work for both cars.

Most of the jacks avaiable are made by the same manufacturer and re-branded.

This is what I use and it fits under a lowered Viper without wood.

If I didn't have to carry my jack, I would get this:

I have the 2 ton low profile harbor freight jack linked above, it works great.

Far from expert, I use the three ton low profile harbor freight jack, because of the low height, and the long throw. Many jacks don't raise the car all that much, and I wanted to get it up there, not being real flat in my personal profile.

I think jack manufacturing is pretty well understood throughout the industry. My buying decision trigger was lifted height, and of course, price. It is heavy .
