A few drone shots

My buddy offered to do a shoot of my Premiere Edition Convertible today. I think they turned out pretty well.

Mavic Pro kit $1299. Shoots 4K video.

https://www.dji.com/mobile/mavic

To provide true 4K aerial video and a smooth live feed, the Mavic Pro is equipped with the smallest high-precision 3-axis gimbal that DJI has ever made. With brushless motors on all three axes, the gimbal can control the camera with precision, adjusting it to eliminate shake caused by movement from the Mavic. This 4K camera uses core technologies found in all DJI cameras. It is equipped with a 1/2.3 inch CMOS image sensor, commonly found in professional sports cameras, and an aerial imaging optimized integrated lens with an equivalent focal length of 28mm. It shoots smooth 4K video at 30fps, 1080P video at 96fps and 12-megapixel photos.

Very cool, I want a drone so bad, but cost is so high for the amount of time I would use it. Just can't justify the cost at this time.

Great photos. And I love the interior color.

Actually, in the RC heli/quad world, $1,300 is really quite a bargain for a rtf.

Thanks for the nice comments everybody. I wish I had remembered to lower the driver side sun visor.

I talked to my buddy about the possibility of a business using the drone for aerial photography and he said he thought there would be licensing restrictions for commercial use.

If you get a FAA Part 107 Drone Certificate you can use it commercially.
