In my opinion that is way too much. I do not like it going over .200 amp.
In my experiences...a .6 of an amp draw would kill the battery overnight. DUB |
Yes it doesn't take long Dub. I'm gonna get on it in the morning. I just had the tranny done a while back so I guess I'll look around under there for something obvious. Hopefully this won't take to much to correct.

Keep in mind it can only be circuits that are HOT at all times and NOT those that get 12 volts when the ignition key is on.
So ti will not be your turn signals or wiper motor due to they work ONLY when the key is ON...BUT...circuits like your interior lights, alternator, alarm system, rear compartment glove box light, etc that can have 12 volts to them at all times to operate will be where you find the problem. ASSUMING that the car is correctly wired as designed and not modified. KEEP IN MIND that IF you have a wire connected to the BAT terminal in the center of your fuse panel..THAT wire can be also causing the problem if it is operating an aftermarket component. DUB |
Thanks Dub this car still pretty much stock, radio still Delco. Like I said I suspect something underneath.

Is there a factory alarm? My friends 76 alarm caused grief on more than one occasion.
With the amp meter hooked up the way you determined the draw, did you try pulling fuses one at a time to see if it was one of those circuits? |

Where is this block in the car? |
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...8d9f631dba.jpgHere is the circuit
|
With the 75, are the interior lights on that same 20A Tail circuit?
|
I believe there on the 20 amp above it
|
Separate ,cause the one on top burnt
|
I have no clue due to not enough of the wiring diagram is being shown so I do not know where the other two wires are going because I am at home and not have a wiring diagram here.

I've pulled all the bulbs tail, side , backup and license plate. Examined the wire no real problems noted. The dash hasn't had any work done behind it. Still .6 draw. anyone has any input that could help me isolate this issue.
|
It also looks like seat belt buzzer may be in this circuit too. Can I just unplug it or does it have to be there.
|
The alarm relay and flasher should be in the jack compartment behind the passenger seat. You could try unplugging them to see if there is a difference.
|
I will 75. I'm also thinking the seat belt buzzer under the seat.

https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...f526eae957.jpgO cool pulled two wires loose. Now if I can figure which one went where. I see another car with a. cutoff switch in the future. Not worth ripping car apart

:lurk:
DUB |
Did you get the power drain figured out yet???
That circuit 40 goes to your headlight switch and then also traces back to the sequence mobile in the back of the car. DUB |
