Still searching.....:steering:

Has anyone seen this at the swap meets?
|
Are you interested in a dealer that carries Lakewood products or only looking for used?
Fall Carlisle is coming up in late September, might have some luck at that huge swap meet. Just a thought. Also, have you searched on RacingJunk.com to see if anyone there has one for sale? Good luck with your search. David Howard |

Good luck with your search. David Howard There might be current Lakewood dealers out there that might know where to locate such a block plate. If you know of one I could follow up with them. I will have a few feelers at the Carlisle meets keeping their eyes open for me. Kinda hard to get to the Carlisle swap meets from Canada....eh :willy: I have been searching RacingJunk.com but have not seen one yet. |
Unfortunately no leads yet, but I am sure sooner or late one will surface........:D

Yes, I seen the listing. I would like to find a 1570 block plate like I posted to keep my ride period correct.

Still searching for the 1570 Lakewood block plate.
Thanks! |
This 1570 Lakewood block plate doesn't appear to be too common.

Looks like your original has been modified. If you can't find one idt it would be too much trouble to have one cut on a water jet, spot weld the nuts, just have to work out the pressed openings-fab shop should be able to handle that np.

The two pics, with the exception of the one with the starter location being modified for a small block application, are original block plates from slightly different time periods. I have made a few inquiries about making them but the pressing of the louvers is somewhat challenging, tool and die issue. If the block plates were the newer versions the vents are holes that are punched out. :smash:
