Which color is better for resale?

Arctic white or Admiral Blue?

The thought never crossed my mind to select the color of my car based on the potential resale value 3-4 years down the road. I would expect any increase or decrease in resale value based on color would be +/- 500 bucks at best. White is consistently one of the most popular colors so I would think that would appeal to the masses better therefore better for resale with regard to attracting more potential buyers.

Enjoy your car, no matter what color you choose, but I would choose the one you like the best!

White

it is the most common color for the c7z

black rose may be the hardest to resale

White right now. Red, Blue, Yellow all have the same KBB value. Silver is actually ~$300 less. White is ~$200 more.

I'm in and out of cars 1-2 years, so this is why I ask. Thank you for your help.

White

cvp33 08-13-2017 11:31 AM

$8.33 per month impact. But if you don't care if you drive blue or white for 2 years its a non-issue.

White sells more units when new, so it'd stand to reason they'd be easier to sell later. Does it mean you'll get more for it? I highly doubt it, it'll just sell faster.

In fact, the blue might sell for MORE because someone has to search it out if they want blue. But it won't sell as fast.

So... do you want to sell easily or for the maximum amount?

Who cares if having a car that looks like this costs a few hundred bucks more in how ever many years lol

Not a factor for me but obviously for the poster......... I assume you are buying automatics? That would be more important then color.
