Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge
 

Just read the results of the Grassroots Motorsports Annual Ultimate Track Car Challenge, and again, very weak representation from GM - one C5Z and a couple of Camaros, one a NASCAR race car. There were no C7s or C6s in the fifty car field which had a smattering of pure race cars, Mustangs, Porsches, BMWs, a couple of Vipers and a Hellcat, and the usual foreign and kit cars. The decent times on the VIR long course were around 2 minutes, something a prepped C7Z should be able to do easily. Where did everybody go?

BTW: a 2016 Riley Mark XXII Track Day car had the fastest time - 1:44:376.
