Thought I'd post a pic of my 1/18 C7.

Had to take it apart to change the interior from red to black and painted the top and wheels. Also used some leftover tint and did the back window.

Nice job!

I'm chomping at the bit to do my car, but nobody has done a 1/18 C7 convertible, yet...
(come on Maisto, you already have 1/64 and 1/24 convertibles - how hard can it be to upscale it?)

Here's the "Zinger" I made from a 1/24 Maisto...

I found one but it's pretty pricey.

I actually bought one of these with the intention of a repaint
Once I started taking it apart, I discovered that after you get beneath the pretty paint job, they are crude as hell.
These are not diecast metal. With the exception of the tires and windshield, it is completely made of resin and VERY delicate.

I settled on changing the interior color, gently screwing it back together, and selling it to a friend with the instructions to NEVER take it out of the box!

I got mine on sale for $160 - damn glad I didn't pay $300!
