Fall AutoFair - They liked red this year!
I attended AutoFair here in Charlotte this past weekend and won best C3 and Best of Show for our club, I was stunned! Must have been that $50 I slipped the judges.... :D ..... KIDDING!
The yellow C3 owned by my bud Karl is a show winner too.... I got lucky! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...ff1386881e.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...c2393f6a38.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...1b815f0e39.jpg |

Hi RMV,
What a terrific looking car! I can understand why it was a winner!! Regards, Alan I'm thinking 71? Or maybe a late 70? |
As a group (NCRS) we were very lucky to have had the opportunity to run laps around that track. I ran two of my cars there, the '71 WB and the '72 Bryar Blue car. Too funny, I ran out of gas on the last last in the blue car and coming around the last turn, I made it right up to that Sunoco fill station in your picture! Looked like I planned it! No one knew what had happened and lucky for me a friend had a gallon of gas with him, as the Sunoco was closed....
Thanks for the memory! |
