Good luck! VERY rare car, I sold mine ( fully restored, https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...6668c402a2.jpg
300hp, 4speed, ps,pb,pw, wonderbar) about a year ago after 33 years. Bought a 65, 396/425 roadster, what a beast! Yes, I'm finding out how rare! :( The ones I've run across so far are either restored and priced appropriately (trailer queens, museum pieces); or they are non-original in significant ways (i.e., non-numbers matching, not original "tuxedo black on red", etc.). My resolve has been tested, but I will persevere!!! |
Still looking!!! Hoping for a Christmas miracle. :)

rtruman ... I didn’t quite understand your post. Your 63 SWC is for sale now, or you already sold it? |
Yes when I bought it ,it was black the correct color is Sebring Silver .
I repainted it the correct color and didn't know it had a 65 frame that wasin perfect condition . Wrong for that year Sold it for 90,000 in 7/5/2017 |
Nice black red swc is going to be a toughie.
Was photo from Bayfield Vettefest show last year. Good looking trio. Outstanding collection collection of C-2's there that day.

That was from two years ago. I just picked up a 72 BB top flight, so if I can find extra drivers I plan to bring the 54,61,63,72,06 to the show.....

Our red on red is the perfect 63 color. If I had a notion to repaint the Daytona blue sister car it would be black with the dark blue interior. That would be unusual. Restomod prices make these original cars seem really cheap.
