obviously you do otherwise you wouldn't have posted this. I tend to drive the car when I'm behind the wheel , not looking around to see if anybody's looking at me. but that's why I bought the thing, to drive it.

Happens a lot when you are a young Dude (lady Dudes also) but less as you get older. If a Babe gave me “the look” right now it would scare me so bad 😳...think I got a flat tire or something fell off the car...but I still hoping ...ha ha 😜

Really, dude?

EviLS7 10-19-2017 01:57 PM

I bought mine to drive it and have fun. But I did have a funny thing happen this weekend. Just went out to dinner with the gf and stopped at the gas station to get some drinks, I was waiting out in the car and just sitting there when some guy and I assume his gf walked by and overheard her say "if you had a car like that I would love you forever". Hopefully thats a red flag for that guy and he got rid of the gold digger, but still thought it was pretty funny.

Yep, since most Vette owners are old men, I'd say that the Blue Hairs really take notice!:funnypost:

Yes, but their walkers aren't as nice as my vette.

Well funny you would say that. My first Corvette was a 1966 BB 427/425. I was home on leave and friend set me up with a friend of his wife. She was double drop dead gorgeous. Well we went out and we were in the back set and he had a GTO and we hit a bump and she was worried it messed up her hair (for those as old as me remember the piled high hair). His wife said your luck you are in our car and not his. She asked what I drove and when she was told a Corvette she went crazy and said she would gladly mess up her hair for a ride in it. Last time I saw her.
True story, of course I also went back overseas a few days later.

I hear they are cheaper in the long run since they don't have maintenance and upkeep fees.
