Thank You to honorable U.S. Veterans

I am not a country music fan. However, I own 1965 Corvette and have considered. It one time it may have been owned by someone who may list their life in Vietnam.
I heard this song today on talk radio and feel it worth sharing and a passing on a Thank You to those that honorably have served our country and a special Thank You those and their loved ones that never made it back home.

Song is endearingly corny - the sentiment is not.

I did it made it back and lost friends the corvette was there with my brother in law .
He was a green Beret and lost him last year . He asked me can you power shift a corvette ,I said heck yea lets go .
We were there around the same time.
We beat a guy with a blower on his Camaro found out his 66 that he financed from a used car dealer was a 12 second quarter mile vehicle . Never forget it . That corvette had a top end I will never forget.
We took on all takers Mo Par anything that came along RT1 in Collage park Md.

I’ve had the privilege of 20 years of service to God, Corps and Country starting in 1968 the Corps 193rd Birthday. Loved every moment, and would do it all over again. Happy Birthday to my fellow Marines, past and present! How birthday cake should be eaten, cake, kbar, beer in the bush.

.... and to those who did not return :flaghalfmast:
