For the new C7 owners

Had the pleasure of attending the spring mountain corvette owners school Nov 10th& 11th. What a first class facility and staff. Had a blast. The capabilities of the c7 are amazing. Whatever you do don't miss the opportunity to go through this course.

Yeah, that was two of the most fun days I've ever had. Even my wife enjoyed hanging out and riding with instructor . . . that's saying a lot. It gave me the confidence to try an HPDE event soon.

Definitely a great experience.

Absolutely a must do for any Corvette owner.

Do you drive your car or theirs. To far for me if I need to do it in my car.

Onrails 11-15-2017 11:35 PM

They have about 120 Corvettes. You will be in the type and transmission that you drive. We just hopped a cheap flight on Southwest.

Just bought a new Grand Sport. I'll get a discount, right?

Onrails 11-16-2017 12:39 AM

Will cost you a grand for the school. GM pays the rest including one night in their condo. 2nd night is on you. Breakfast and lunch both days is free.

Vetteman Jack 11-16-2017 12:48 AM

Have heard nothing but great things about the school. Hopefully some day I'll get a chance to attend.

Onrails 11-16-2017 01:03 AM

I believe they are having a special in December where the 2nd night in the condo is free also. Don't remember the exact dates.

Intense and awesome. A life memory.

I'll be going in May, making it part of a road trip through Oregon, California and Nevada. I can hardly wait...

Their car, but it’s set up like what you own. Stingray, GS or Z06. M7 or A8.
