Shmee150's Dubai Video of ZR1, very up close and personal look at the car

Great opportunity to really get a look at the side vent protrusions, up very close to the front bumper, close up of the wing chord length (too short in my opinion...I may even call it dinky), close up of the orange, the engine bay, and small bits.

Wing looks super easy to remove for day to day driving. For those that don't want the wing for the street it will be an easy option to remove.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a special cap that comes with the car that covers the mounting spots for the upright to make it almost non noticeable, especially if it is body colored.

awesome:cheers:

I think the wing is attached to the frame so not sure that would be an easy thing to remove

It's not physically attached in a manner that it can't be removed. In the vid you can see the mounting hardware at the base. Question will just be a matter of difficulty removing the hardware...is it as simple as unbolt from the top, etc.

If you recall we saw some prototypes pictures with just the support stubs sticking up.

Not a bad video once you mute it

One thing I'd really like to see is the cockpit view out the window from the drivers seat. It would be great to see that side by side with the Z06. I'm just wondering how much that even higher hood obscures your view.

I'm sure...I refuse to even give him the view so I won't watch it, but how many times did he use the work epic? LOL His favorite word...he's a tool IMO.

You can see how much the hood is raised from the inside when they show the interior shot. It's quite a bit and I like it.

Tim does a nice job on his videos.....

Obviously you don't know who he is.
FYI, this kid has one of the most popular YouTube channels for cars.
He has become filthy rich doing this and is one of the 1st to review/preview high-end cars on the net.

No. I know exactly who he is...he's a dbag and rich because people watch his crap and make him popular. Uses the word epic like it's going out of style. I'll save my click and never give him one again...I'm not a 🐑

Or aftermarket hinged posts to allow folding the wing back and out of the way for compartment accent.

Well then that puts you almost a foot further away from the hatch. As someone else said in another thread, good luck putting the top in the hatch without scratching anything.

If people were not watching he wouldn't be where he is. :smash:
