With Body Side Molding or Without ?
Was thinking of removing my body side molding. Like the look of C5's without it.

It’s your car, so make it look how you want it to look. I personally like the look of the body side moldings, but many don’t and they remove them. A hair dryer and some fishing line will get them off.

Those moldings are hideous and really make the car look dated .

I think my 2003 EBM looks better without the molding, but I've seen Silver vetts that look good with them on. Maybe color makes a difference, but for me I like plain sleek lines.
|
I prefer without. But would worry about it being darker paint underneath the molding.

Happy that I have them on my '98. Noticed a small ding in the molding which would have been in the middle of the door... Not a pretty sight...

:iagree::iagree::iagree:...wait.....I think we're in for a long debate once again...:leaving:
If you like them keep them, if you don't take them off. It's your ride, do with it as you please. No need to constantly ask....What do you guys think ? :toetap: |
Definitely without. Check out how much better this car looks without them.
Before: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...c452459bee.jpg and now without: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...b33f00cd85.jpg The ONLY difference between them is the second picture has the BSM's removed. |

If I had ordered a C5 new, I think I would have passed on the BSM.
That said, my car has them. I've thought about removing them, but I wonder if the paint underneath would look different. It's not a big enough issue for me to worry about. So mine are staying. |

Well took me about 3 hours and there off !!! Much cleaner look, cannot even tell wear they were on a 17 yr old car. Try to post a before and after pic if I can learn how to post them. Now its time to order Black Z06 Spider Wheels.

Take em off--send back to the design engineer who came up with the idea--Dont forget to include a jar of Vasoline :pistols:
