I remember seeing that on a late night infomercial.....it was called the C5 Veg-O-Matic.

They claimed that it "It chops, it slices, it dices and makes mounds and mounds of coleslaw!"

I thought it was kind of overpriced at $19,995.00

Reminds me of the basket handle type that used to come on factory hot rod Toyotas. i wonder how this happened, did some body shop guy have an extra part laying around ad lost a bet, or did somebody actually think this was a good idea on their own. Looks a little , well can it be both too small and too big? sometimes you have to see to something that you wouldn't think possible, just to just to remind you how unpredictable life is.

What price happiness? Modifications like that don't exactly get your money back, plainly.

I am glad the guy could buy him some happiness, but there is a branch of science called aerodynamics, and somebody should have stepped in, before this happened, and put a stop to it. A friend would do that.

I don't know much about aerodynamics, but I respect the science enough to not just slap some random thing on for looks, and looks being so important that aerodynamics are no longer even a slight concern. Not for me, one of the reasons I was drawn to consider the corvette was that it had an under pan, and I had enjoyed that logical needed body addition on past cars. Since the science is known, it was easy to separate the market, when I was in it , most cars were more exposed underneath.
