My C5 at Mechanics shop for 4mo due to EBCM and ABS
Hey everyone, my 02 C5 started displaying the typical EBCM and ABS error codes. I took the Vette to my local Mechanic and he sent both modules out to be Rebuilt. A month later they came back, he installed and still the same problem and error code. Then he shipped it to another repair shop in Ohio, 1 month later, it arrives, he installs and STILL, same codes and error messages. He sent it back to the same shop, it came back today and he's going to install it but................something tells me....the problem is still going to be there. In total, counting the shop I had it at before this one for 1 month. My C5 has been in the shops for 4 months so far.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly Appreciated!! Thanks .....Rocket |

Hope the shop has not charged you for the installs/removals of the defective repairs.

It's probably a wiring issue. Parts swappers fail miserable when it's a wiring issue. Without knowing the codes it's impossible to point you in any particular direction.
