My first C5. Did I pay to much.....
Well I've been looking for a long time for a FRC Nassau Blue car. Finally found one with 10,4xx miles on it. Has a B&B exhaust and a Vararam intake and lowered on aftermarket bolts. Also has aftermarket 18/19s with good tread. Ipaid 17,500 for the car. I feel it's on the high side of the market which im ok with. But I can't find a similar car to compare it Tom curious to get some feedback. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...9493407ffb.jpg

Sounds like "buyers remorse". You purchased a nice looking ride that you thought was a fair buy.....you now own it. The price is unimportant.
Enjoy! |
Premium price, but looks like a premium car, and very low miles. congratulations!

No buyers remorse at all. This is the car I wanted. I was just trying to get a feel that's all. Thanks

i think price is very unfair to the SELLER and you did well at that price . if you like it that is the only important thing . . .peace

A person, at least me, always wonders after a purchase if he got screwed. However, if you are happy who cares?
I am really happy with my 03 Vert I bought last June. People on this forum would say I paid a little too much but I paid exactly what I wanted to and my wife and I love the car. Congrats on your purchase! |
For the miles, color, etc, seems like a fair price. Seems tastefully modded, although the caliper covers are a contentious thing around here. Enjoy it.

I don't think you overpaid.
I was looking for an Nassau Blue FRC for YEARS that wasn't commanding a premium and eventually just gave up and bought a six speed targa NB. I paid just a bit under that years ago before the market dropped out for my car with a little more mileage. If that car would have shown up when I was looking I would have thrown down the cash that day with no further hesitation. An NB FRC will be one car that's not going to crash onto the lower floor of the price values. |

That's similar to me. I was looking all over the country also. It then came down to Nassau Blue -anything with a six speed. Then my car showed up five minutes from my house; surprised I'd have never seen it before. Pulled the cash out and went and bought it.

Looks like a good buy to me, congrats and enjoy!

I would have no problem paying that price for that quality of ride. Congrats!!!

Not too high, but who cares, you got want you wanted.

Thanks for the response guys. I was happy with what I paid I felt is was a fair price. The C5 market is all over the place.

I think the price was fair and you got the car you wanted, plus it has low miles. Sounds like a great deal to me. Enjoy the car.

Super ride and very hard find one just like this one great find.. .. Now I got one question for all the people that have a C-5s and this must be the place ?? Here we go I have asked this before and I got nothing .. Why if one has a C-5 that one day they might want to sell it why on earth would one say that the price one payed for a very nice C-5 might be to high ??? When people look at the comments on the price and see people saying ( on the high side ) when you or myself go to sell our C-5 after seeing the comments like too much money well just enjoy it ,not wow what a deal ,these what I say are negative comments or maybe most just don't get the value in some of these old C-5s .Say what you want the comments are not helping the value of my C-5 our yours .. Maybe its just me have been a hot rods for over 50 years and I know what it takes to build anything this nice . I think a super buy and a rare color and a FCR .. If worried about resale buy a TOYMOYA ..

I like it. You pay a little more to get what you want sometimes. The price isn't bad for a low mileage one.
