Another base ECS kit knocking on the door of 8's with a 6 rib belt by Kentucky Speed

Facebook Post

LIttle video of Kentucky Speed's shop C6 from the weekend. Car ran a 9.03 @ 150 on the NOVI 1500. Sixty foot of 1.30 with the FTI 6L80E Torque Converter.
***TIMESLIP and additional video in the comments.***
MODS:
East Coast Supercharging NOVI 1500 Kit (Still on a 6 RIB BELT)
Kentucky Speed / Bluecat Custom Grind Cam
Brian Tooley Racing LS2 Shortblock, Valve Springs & Pushrods
FTI Performance Triple Disc Converter
Viking Performance, Inc. Double Adjustable shocks
Fuel Injector Development Injectors
Kooks Headers and Exhaust Headers & X-PIpe
Total Engine Airflow Ported LSA Heads & LS3 Intake
Kentucky Speed Fuel System (E85)
Tuned By Bluecat for all of the tuning.

There has been a few cars in this area of ET with just our base kit now. These are the reasons why I truly believe we offer the best supercharger kit for your C6 Corvette, the others just don't stack up the same.

Thanks for watching!

Ya'll really need to start making a list of pulley sizes/mods on your site. A lottt of people always asking what pulley and how much boost they're gonna see.

Also, what pulley size? Amazing a 6 rib is ripping that number.

CI GS 12-06-2017 06:11 PM

That thing is seriously hauling ass! Makes you wonder why anyone would want more than a standard ECS 1500 kit for the street.
Is that just on E85 without meth?!
Sounds like they’re locking the converter up on top? Cam doesn’t sound all that big either. Those folks obviously know their shit!

Pulley to boost chart is pointless waste of time.

Viking da shocks rock.

Ecs kit is nice too

Yet the fact remains that people are going to continue to ask about it.

What a moronic comment without even thinking about it, I also stated to put the setup and pulley, not just pulley.

Pull the blower out your ass boy.

so you want a chart with every possible setup for something that in the end is meaningless? How about edjucate people on why it is pointless instead of making pointlesd charts.

I don't think so, I think they are right at max RPM, but I'll ask to be sure.

As far as a combo chart goes that is something we are working on actually. However it is not something set in stone since cam selection etc plays a big role in those equations, but we can give an idea of where you will be.

That said, just one of the many benefits of the ECS kit over others is that with our restrictor plate design and the pulley we include with the base kit if you add an OD balancer you already right around max RPM. So there really isn't a need for a chart, just open or remove the restrictor plate to your desired HP/ET.

No need to buy additional products from us, you already have exactly what you need to make it happen. Save your money for tires. :D

My stock balancer with a 3.25 made just over 15lbs on a medium cam ls2 with headers and no cats. Stock heads and intake.

I ran a best of 149mph with the ECS 1500 on 93+ Meth in 2011-2012. This was on a 6 rib, and 3600+ pounds. No drag setup. Ran 148 on a a small shot of nitrous manually turning it on at 2-3 shifts. Both my fastest 1/4 and 1/2 Mile passes without nitrous. Would have loved to run on corn.

Thanks for the kind words, this is my car and I'll answer any questions about it.

The pulley setup on car is an Innovators West 10% od Crank pulley and a 3.48 blower pulley. Log showed 14.5# on this run.

camshaft is a 235/246 .621/.615. 117 LSA

it is on E85 with No methanol

camarokidz28 12-11-2017 03:50 PM

Does kentucky speed make their own fuel system or is this car using the A&A system that is on kentucky speed's website?

this isn't the A&A fuel system, it was a system put together in house.

Just curious: what type (brand) of belt are you using on that thing?
