Little Help Please

Looking for suggestions/ideas. Car started smoking again like it was when it trashed the valve seals a few months ago for some unknown reason. Pulled all the valve springs and checked out the seals. Although, I found one valve seal trashed, about half of them were lifted off their mounting surface, just riding freely on the valve stem. Tapped them all back in place, all seemed to go on very snug as they should. What the crap could be blowing the seals off like that. Pro Comp seals, Brian Tooley springs. Valve float?????

When you installed the seals did you use that little plastic protector tool to keep from damaging the lip when the seal slides over the groove for the spring keepers?

The seals are in good shape. They are lifting off their seating surfaces.

Is it happening on the exhaust valves only?

Nope. Both intake and exhaust.

I would think that excessive cylinder gases are getting past the valves and escaping up the valve stems/ guides. I would wonder if the valves are seating properly. The valve stems or guides could be worn.

Does it only happen on certain cylinders?

Does your cam have a long duration and short LSA?
