Navy Blue Metallic was a 1999 color that made it on to 14 1998 Corvettes. It was used again in 1999 & 2000 when a few thousand Vettes were painted that color.

I had always thought that prototype, pilot build or any pre-production vehicles (Corvettes of otherwise) could never be sold to or titled for road use by a member of the general public.

The good thing in regards to the C5 at least is pilot and pre-production VINs are fairly well documented, which makes it very easy to know if you have a car that falls into that realm. |

That's my Fairway Green convertible with the optional N73 mags (since replaced). I do get a fair amount of compliments on the color, primarily because you don't see this C5 color on a regular basis. :flag: |
