C7 ZR1 Fuel System Specs
Tadge,
Now that the ZR1 details have been announced, we know that it will have a port injection fuel system on top of the DI fuel system for supplemental fueling needs. Many of us are curious as to the details and specs regarding the components of this new fuel system. I believe its been said that it will use the Z06 high pressure DI fuel pump as well as the Z06 DI injectors. For the in-tank low pressure fuel delivery pump and lines, has this been improved to provided a higher flow rate and if so approximately how much more flow does it provide? Also, can any information be released about about the port-injection injector specifications? Thanks Ant |
Maybe this one will make the next poll?

It's a pretty specific and specialized question. I wouldn't count on it.

I'm not sure how this is much different than your question about the differences in brakes between the Z07 and the ZR1. Your question is pretty specific and specialized in that regard too. I'm simply looking for the same type of "exactly what is different?" question about the fuel system..

With the ZR1 fuel system pushing the limits of the Z06 high side already as noted in the article and then adding port injection on top of that, theres no way its providing more fuel with less pressure. So I still think theres good grounds for these questions to Tadge. Ant |
Since this question hasn’t gained the traction I originally hoped for, im abondoning it for another question that is larger scope than this one.
