Would you buy a ME Cadillac?

If GM builds a ME Cadillac first and make us wait for the ME Vette, would you consider/buy the Caddy?

Depends, but choice is a good thing... if the Caddy happens to look better and have more goodies, why not ?
The XLR had a "V" model and was a completely different look. Looks are subjective but it looked great. The C5 looked great ( except for a slightly large ASS, which was rectified in the C6, and re-rectumfied in the C7.
The Caddy had a nice tight little ass.
I hope i don't sound sexist but to each and everyone's preference!

Not likely... just not a Caddy fan.

sunsalem 12-29-2017 04:54 PM

Had an Escalade, XLR, and CTS-V Coupe.
Wouldn't hesitate to buy another Cadillac...

Don't care about brand, care about the car.

sunsalem 12-29-2017 05:20 PM

Kinda where I'm at too.:yesnod:

Maybe. If the car and the price are right.

I love my 1960 Eldorado roadster and I have a CTSV wagon too and an Escalade for the team.

If they don’t mess up the styling I’d love one in red to match the Eldo

:iagree:...and that's a whole lotta' rollin' metal !

Depends on price, style, and performance. But not in that order.

I don't own one but, the CTS-V cars seem to be pretty awesome performers. The XLR was interesting as a "Luxury Roadster".

Not sure is Caddy needs a mid engine to hit the XLR market again. Make a luxury 2 seat to compete with MB, BMW etc. I'm not convinced that even with the great performing mid engine, Caddy pulls any interest from buyers looking at the big Euros.

Could be wrong... Just don't see the advantage for them except for maybe staying in the limelight from a industry standard but not sure it translates to sales.

Thanks, she's certainly LONG!!!!

I installed 4 disc brakes, modern AC, & speakers, & seat belts. Rest us all pure 1960. America at her peak 🇺🇸

It's funny when I park her next to a modern exotic they all become invisible as Flo hogs all the attention. She's a Diva LOL

Same here. It depends what it has to offer. The badge doesn't mean much to me.

Yes:thumbs:

I' be way more likely to buy a midengine Caddy than I would a me corvette. Corvett goes midengine and it' totally taken off my list of potential cars to buy, even if it was faster and cheaper and had a fresh pizza inside it every time I got in. Midengine simply is not what I want in a corvette.
