Drivers side door won't shut

Drivers side door won't shut on my 2011. It shuts, but is not grabbing the latch and holding it closed, just pops back to open. any ideas?

I oiled it, to no avail.

Try pressing the "Open" on the door key pad, it should release the locking cam where it will close and lock.

Didn't help, it'll close, but won't stay closed. When it does seem to close and catch a medium push from the inside and it pops right open.

I assume that you have indexed the windows. If not, the procedure is in your owners manual.

Is the window indexing? Did you try lowering the window and then closing?

Yes, i have the windows down so i dont break them with the continuous slamming I'm doing to get it closed

Door latch activator is internal bound up.

If you can't get it unbound by lubing it with spray silicone spray, then you may have to pull it from the car, pull it apart, and clean and re-grease the parts isntead.

Have you tried making sure the floor latch is fully down?

It may take a few pull-ups and let slap down to do it.

eta: make sure there is nothing under the handle to keep it from fully engaging.

Thanks Dano, will try that if what OWC suggested doesn't work. Dano, any idea what the part # is for that in case i have to replace it?
