Happy New Years! If any of you need help with maintenance or modifications on your 14-19’ Corvette let me know! It's my way of thanking the community for all the help and DIY guides. Below is a list of thing's I've done with my 17' Stingray. *I've also done a bit of work on C5 and C6 Corvettes as well. - oil and filter change - diff fluid check only - re-sit loose harness for driver side door tweeter. Door panel need to come off - mild to wild install - skip shift eliminator install I provide oil, filter, mild to wild kit, skip shift eliminator kit, lunch or dinner and bottom-less beer. :cheers: |

Sounds good to me! We should be able to finish everything in an afternoon, figure 4-5 hours max. Has your diff fluid ever been changed before? If it’s still on the factory fill then it might be underfilled. We can do the diff fluid if you want, it’ll take about 45 mins to do. Do you have a set of jacking pucks? If not, I’d recommended getting a set since mine are mounted on my car.
Original diff fluid. Never been checked. When GM recalled diff fluid underfill cars back in 2014, my VIN was not listed. Yes, I have a set of jacking pucks that I made for my C6. Works great on C7. |
We could do oil change, check diff fluid (or change fluid) and the skip shift eliminator install. It’s more efficient to do all those at once since the car is jacked up. Afterwards if we have time we could could remove the driver side door panel and install mild to wild. I’d be fine with all that.

this is pretty cool. I wish there was C6 owners that are good at this. I wanna learn to do my own basic maintenance. but im not a big fish with c7. only a guppy with a c6 z06 lol. I been on quick jacks site every day for the last 3 months eye ballin it to buy so I can take my wheels off to clean better and get behind it. and also id love to learn to change my own brakes I need ceramic. a 5 mile drive my chrome rims look dirty lol.
but that's awesome. and I agree. I love being apart of this forum. everybody is cool |

Your C6Z is quite special IMO. That car has so much character, much more so than my C7. When is your car due for service? I could show how to do basic fluid (oil/filter, tranny, diff, clutch) if you'd like.
your awesome. I really appreciate that. Unfortunately. My 08 z has 6900 miles. So it rarely gets out. I just had heads and cam done in September when it had roughly 6500 miles. They did the coolant oil and all that. I just sucked out clutch fluid last weekend. The next thing is brake pads. I hate the squeak and dust. I want to put on carbotech single ceramic pads. I' probably gonna order the quickjack next week. To give me the opportunity to learn and do my own tinkering in future. |
Aaron and his friend David spent 10 hours working on my highly customized corvette front fascia due to my Procharger and Radioflyers lights. They installed a new set of DRL and my tow strap! It was not a easy install. Video to follow soon on the install.
They are great guys! Their workmanships are outstanding! They have excellent attention to details and great problem solving skills. We overcame many obstacles to install my items. My fascia was better aligned after their installation compared to before. They could work on my car any time they want. On to the next project! |
