I suspect that swapping the new ZR1 bumper onto Z06 /GS will be a popular option to increase air flow/cooling. Once they become available.

You'll about have to graft the entire front end to do so. The fenders were redesigned for widebody w/o spats which would keep the ZR1 front bumper from aligning with existing fenders. Also, the body lines of the new hood extend down into the new nose, which would keep the nose from aligning with the body lines of the existing hood.

Are you talking about the ZR1? If so I agree... but they obviously did that so it cools the rads better.

The thing sticking out of the center of the bumper totally ruins it.

That's a lot of money and work to put into just to make your C7 look like the new ZR1. Hopefully they'll be manufacturers that will make aftermarket front bumpers just like that so it will fit the existing Z06 and Grand Sport.

This picture is definitely PhotoShopped. But if you look at the new ZR1, you see Aventador in the nose anyway!!

Looks nice, but not a fan!

Don't get me wrong I love the looks of my C7 GS as well. I just think this would be quite an attention grabber when you pull into a car show or gas station!

Only to another Corvette person. Nobody else would know. It looks like a ZR1.

MCK_Z06 01-27-2018 03:57 PM

Looks similar to the C7 Gran Veloce Front Bumper to me.

383vett 01-27-2018 05:13 PM

I like it. Looks nice

lakemg 01-27-2018 06:58 PM

Not for me...kind of analogous to putting a Corvette front bumper on a Pontiac Solstice...

Maxie2U 01-27-2018 09:45 PM

I like it.

I'll always be a fan of Lamborghini. There just way too damn expensive for me. In my opinion this is what General Motors should've done to the Corvette. And really is it that much different looking than the ZR1?
assuming some people on here don't like the looks of ZR1 either.

I wonder if that front fascia will be specfic to the ZR1, or if all 2019 models will get the change?

I was referring to the OP's picture.

I could definitely make this bumper. Was considering something similar to this on the C67 conversion lower bumper but not a direct copy of the Lambo. Number of ways to do it but I think it would only take a day or two to get it fitting / roughed in.

dbirdhouse1 03-03-2018 06:20 PM

sorry for the comparison but.....

.....it's a woman with breast enhancements, hard to take one's eyes off it but you know it's not what it should be, attractive but overdone....I think I'll stop here:D

GrandSport223 03-04-2018 12:32 AM

If you could build a bumper like this I would be very interested in buying it. I think the Huracan bumper might be better suited for the C7.https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...5277fa8e26.png

Its got the opening in the front to cool down the rads. I don't know why GM didn't do this to the ZR1. The centre grill to me looks... I don't know... just don't care for it.
