Wow, unlike Ford they didn't even have to use one of their works race drivers to set the time which means the car may actually have more left on the table. All this for barely 1/4 the price of the Ford. Just stunned.
Much, much respect to ace vehicle dynamics engineer Jim Mero but just imagine this thing with one of Corvette Racing's fangs out Lemans winners Magnussen, Milner, Gavin or Garcia at the wheel. Just...damn. |

Just watched the video. 170 MPH in the front straight is over 15 MPH higher than the Z06. Wow. 157 MPH entering the climbing eases. I really want to see that VIR Full lap.

While interesting to look at, those are just the C&D journalist lap times. For instance they lapped the Ford GT 2:43 where as Ford lapped it in 2:38.xx
