Do we even know what the total allocation for Canada is for the year? I heard 30 cars... no idea how true that is.

Let us know if you get an allocation confirmed with a build date. Haven’t heard anything about Canadian allocations.

I've been told that GM has not and will not issue TPW for Canadian orders yet... they're waiting for "warmer" weather as they won't ship to us in below freezing weather.

Was told to expect GM to begin giving us production week estimate late March... with April or May TPW dates.

When I have been talking to the dealerships across canada because I am actively looking for an allocation I am told gm canada is only releasing 50 allocations first then gm canada will release more alloctions as production picks up and the exposed carbon fiber suppliers gets caught up on these first productions runs oh the joys of new models ( ZR1 ) and first production runs

Well that sucks....Try Steele Chev in Dartmouth NS...2nd biggest dealer in NS and where I bought my 10 ZR1....902-434-4100.

calgaryguy 02-15-2018 06:18 PM

I would like to thank svtkeith for all of his help. Steele chev does have an open allocation for a 2019 ZR1 , the problem is they will only sell local or to a person in nova scotia. They will not allow me to buy and shipped the car to calgary alberta. Paul the sales manager said the only way I get it is if gm canada says you have no buyer and have not filled the allocation we are going to give it to another dealership then steel chev will sell it to me before losing the allocation :ack: :toetap:  I guess its only fair to give a person from nova scotia a chance to buy it before another buyer from out of province .

So If you know of a dealership in canada or are a dealership with an open allocation needing a buyer please let me know asap

Thanks!!

Well that sucks!!!......what if I buy the car and sell it to you same price +tax that I paid?....I know you'd have to pay NS tax to me then your tax but if it's worth it to you I'm ok to go...there's gotta be a way around this...let me know.
