700r4 transmission tv cable
 

can the tv cable on an 87 700r4 be pulled tight and left there and not have any problems.i want to disconect it from carb and put in on a seperate adjuster and pull it tight.reason for this is most of my shifts are not at wot and i pull a 24 foot inclosed car trailer and want the line pressure higher at the lower shifts any help would be greatly appreciated thanks brian

Just put a bigger boost valve in it. Very easy and you won't have to drop the valvebody. It'll increase line pressure without messing with the shifts.
