2015 C7 to 2013 C6 tail light

can someone help me or give me a link to buy c6 tail light unit for my c7. im new to this forum. If there is no link or no one is doing it.. i will make one and retrofit myself. please help me

No one has done it that I know of. Going from a high tech all LED unit to bulbs seems to be a step backward, IMHO.

I guess there are still some that want the almost round look of previous generations.

whitec7 02-20-2018 05:56 PM

Why....

If you want C6 tail lights buy a C6.

I don’t think he’s a troll at all.... new member probably doesn’t know how much this has been discussed and debated.

First post. Can’t spell. Asking about round tail lights for a C7.

Troll. No doubt.

I want some bias ply tires if we’re going retro.

lmgtfy didn't work for that. I'm guessing nobody makes any for the C7. :leaving:

LIE2ME 02-20-2018 08:43 PM

Well, I like retro. How about an 8-track player and one of those "floating" compasses that stick to the dash?

Red Devil Z51 02-20-2018 08:59 PM

naw we need Polyglass tires again lol

murtro 02-20-2018 09:12 PM

While I've gotten over it and really like the new tail lights, you guys are being cruel. Do you all forget the great debates in 2013 / 2014 about the camaro tail lights? I can see the appeal of continuing with tradition of (a modernized version of) the shape that has been around for 60 years.

proexpert 02-20-2018 10:08 PM

I think the dual round tail lights started in 1961 or 1962, not 1953

Avanti 02-20-2018 10:15 PM

Despite some replies here, I can empathize with your question. Personally, I like the look of some of the googled examples... a lot. So, go for it! :yesnod:

Btw, if spelling and such were indications of trolling we'd have some long-time, numerous post trolls.

I think after 6 MYs, the round taillight debate has lost its steam, however, it’ll be interesting to see if they make their triumphant return for the C8.

Edit: pic #2 ^^^ looks pretty good...

ssidekickbp 02-20-2018 11:05 PM

Anyone who's still complaining about this needs to realize that the C7's design departures from previous Corvettes helped it GAIN more buyers then it lost.

slickstick 02-20-2018 11:29 PM

#1 and #3 look terrible... #2 looks pretty good surprisingly.
