Can someone point me to a list of all the L engine/hp designations.. When people talk about Lthis and Lthat I have no clue what they are talking about...

Thanks

They are talking about RPO codes. Google search GM RPO codes and you should be able to come up with a list. Or you can buy the Corvette Black Book

Thanks Ed for making that available...

So I have had one request to post this file / information on other forums.

Permission is granted for anyone that wishes to post this information any other place on the internet or local computers that they wish.

I reserve the right to, and in fact withhold permission for anyone to use this information for commercial or profit purposes.

Darned nice of you to provide that valuable reference for all to see and use!

One more piece of information ... an engine block diagram that identified the location of the important engine numbers in order to identify an engine.

emccomas 02-21-2018 12:25 PM

When I first developed The Lime Book (1st edition in 1991), the idea was that people would carry it around with them to junkyards, swap meets, etc. so they could identify engines on site.

If you are anything like me, you now carry a smart phone with you everywhere, and access the information via the web.

I figured this would make it easier.

Everyone enjoy.

So, why doesn't some smart kid post this book and the diagram in the C1 and C2 FAQ thread?
jv04 did the work to create it and is will to share it.

PS: I am not smart and no longer a kid or I would try it.

Thanks jv04

If you need assistance, contact a mod for help. We don’t just see everything.

I made this thread a Sticky for ease of access... Admins can decide to fold it into the FAQ if they prefer.

If I was a smart computer guy, I would find a way to put all of Ed's hard work into an app, or something like whatever you call those things where you just punch in a code and it gives you a list of applicable engines.

Thanks, Ed.
