Vapor Blasting
 

Is vapor blasting appropriate for under hood aluminum parts? Or does it make items look "too good". I am referring to valve covers, fuel injection castings, etc. In a full restoration, wiping away any patina should not be an issue. But on piecemeal clean ups? Any direction will be appreciated.
