RPO codes on '10 GS, not in glove box.
 

Looking for the RPO codes for a 2010 GS coupe. We looked in the glove box and nothing. We also looked at a 2012 glove box and no codes. Where else would they be located? Thanks

On the inside of the door on the glovebox.

Sticker is hard to see but I'll bet it is in there. Look again.

I've owned 5 C6s and all 5 of them had the RPO tag in the same place: In the glove box, on the extreme left side of the glove box door.

Others here have said they couldn't find it UNTIL we told them it was on the INSIDE of the glove box door and on the EXTREME LEFT SIDE of the glove box door.

Get a strong flashlight and put your glasses on and look again. If it's still not there, then someone tore it out before you got there. Go look at 20 other C6s with that flashlight and those glasses on your nose and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Hard to tell what we're looking at. But that's not the RPO tag. The RPO tag is a flat white tag with black lettering on it. It's not a tag with a yellow end and a string through it. That tag in the pic has Spanish lettering on it, the RPO tag doesn't.

It's French and it's the airbag tag.

However the RPO sticker is right where it belongs, and is gray (maybe silver-ish).

I don't see it in mine or the 12 we looked in.

You need a better monitor. It's there, you don't see the GM holograms?

I see it. The GM hologram pretty much covers the codes in that photo.

I've got a 2 year old 27" monitor and a pair of 2.75 reading glasses, but I'm not seeing anything that looks like an RPO tag with 50-60 RPO codes on it.

It's also difficult to be sure what part of the glove box or dash I'm seeing.

However, it's extremely unlikely that a tag with RPO codes on it would be visible from the driver's seat if the glove box were closed. I can see the 7 lines of RPO codes on the tag in the pic that MidLifeC6 posted. But even that pic, it hard to be sure where the tag is. However, it looks like it's in the glove box.

But if your RPO tag is outside the glove box, fine. You just have one that's put somewhere that few C6s have.

In the center of the picture, all those white spots, you see that? Those are GM holograms on the sticker. At that angle it's hard to see the codes but they are there in the usual spot.

The RPO codes are there, you just can't see them clearly in the picture due to the GM holograms showing as a result of the angle the picture was taken and/or the flash from the camera :cheers:

So according to all the posts the left side of the glove box is the only place GM places the RPO sticker. If sticker is not there and there is no alternate location then we must assume either the glove box has been replaced or the sticker has been removed? No stickers on two different year C-6's is pretty strange.

Yes, but be advised that the sticker (in the red circle in the photo) is in the glove box DOOR, not in the glove box itself.
