Z06 wheel option question
I did a search on this first and can’t find anything. I’m somewhat seriously looking into trading in my ‘17 Camaro SS on a Z06. A local dealer has a Z06 with the satin black wheels with red stripe option. Personally I’m not a fan of them and just want the regular pearl nickel painted wheels. On the Camaro the most expensive optioned black wheels also come with the standard silver 5 spokes which is why I ask. If this is the case I’d probably either see if they could knock it off the price and keep them or just try to resell them. I know it may not be quite that simple though as the options are tied to the VIN from my understanding. I know I could probably ask a dealer this but im not looking for a sales pitch. Thanks in advance. |
Just from memory (forgive me I'm old) I believe the pearl nickel wheels were a fairly expensive option.:hide:

Pearl nickel wheels are standard on the Z06.

Yeah there is a different "blade" wheel that is pearl that is an upgrade but I like the standard one. This is on a new leftover 2017 btw. I was hoping someone with one would chime in.

I think you would be able to find someone on here that is in your area to do a trade. They get optional wheels and you get the standard ones that you prefer.

I would sell them and get some Vossen Forged Wheels :D

If you were local I'd trade with you. Unfortunately I'm in CO. My holdover '17 Z07 is being delivered Friday and I tried to get them to trade them out for black wheels but they wouldn't...
