Can't be transported with wing or ground effects. Those will be put on during the PDI.

That's a little surprising that they would put a ZR1 on the same open carrier with bunch of other Corvettes. The C6 ZR1 was always transported in an enclosed carrier, since it was so special, I guess these are not?

Previous model years to the C7 were not shipped with car covers.

I believe he was speaking about enclosed trailers vice car covers. 👍🏽

Right. C6s were shipped with some taped-up sections, but otherwise open on the truck. And therefore, the ZR1 was packed up in a covered truck as sort of a "special" benefit.

That costs a lot of money. And doesn't scale well. Not at all. GM learned.

With the C7, the entire car should be covered with a tight car cover. Very unlike the previous cars. With said tight car cover, the ZR1 is plenty protected and doesn't need its own, special truck.

Any pics of the interior?

Maybe, but considering how expensive this ZR1 is, as was the C6 one, it showed some class and attention to detail by Chevrolet to ship only ZR1s in enclosed trailers, and enhanced the ownership experience. Now they put a cheap cover on it, load it in some open car hauler, and call it good? I'm sorry, that doesn't say "exclusive car" to me at all.

Where can I get one of those covers? I want to use it to get down my road 😀

I seem to have lost my little violin. Elsewise I'd play you a little song.
