Does your wife (spouse) Like riding in your Corvette?
Mine doesn't. Last year we spent Easter with our daughter in Cave Creek, Az. That was her first Easter in Cave Creek since moving from San Diego. I needed to have some maintenance done on the Vette so taking it wasn't an option.
We are going again this year and the Corvette is all ready for a road trip. I asked her if she wanted to go in it this year and she said no. Looks like I will have to plan a trip later this year and go by myself. Am I the only one who's wife doesn't like riding in a Corvette? |

Says she just can't get comfortable behind the wheel. She prefers her Challenger. |
Don't have one, chicks seem to dig it!

Wife loves it. She asked me the other day when am I planning to bring it out again from storage.
|
Yes my wife enjoys the trips in the Corvette. But since I had Corvettes and Street Rods and stuff 40 years ago when we met, she's used to it.

My wife thinks it's the schnizzle!

She doesn't mind riding around town or to visit our other daughter two hours away though. |
My wife enjoys road trips in the Vette, but not spirited driving. I keep getting in trouble. :D

Hates it.
Mostly to do with the cam shaking it from side to side and no cats... |
Mine loves it; she enjoys going on long road trips in it and enjoys it when I open it up; in her words 'the faster the better'. She drove it once right after we bought it and hasn't wanted to since. Although she's driven sports and muscle cars throughout the years, she says she prefers riding shot gun in this one.

the wife loves the car but certainly doesn't like me driving it, lol...... i could care less.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: :flag:

She doesn’t dislike riding in the Vette, but she would prefer driving her Grand Cherokee on road trips. She has no desire to drive the Vette. It’s too low to the ground for her comfort level and she doesn’t want to risk scraping the splitter every 100 yards. We have some dips in the roads around here. I guess to sum it up, she doesn’t really like riding in the Vette. (She also likes her seats better)

Mine waffles. Sometimes I will suggest taking it somewhere and she poo poos it. Sometimes I am getting in another car and she asks why we aren't taking the Vette!
|
Yes.....as long as the roads don't get too curvy....then its "slow down, you have the steering wheel to hold onto."

She doesn't mind it as long ss the top is up. She won't drive it, which is fine with me.
|
She's not real comfortable and I know she'd rather be in her car but a few years ago she decided she was not going to get on the back of my Harley anymore and I had great hopes that we'd spend some of our young retirement years doing some multi-day trips. So I think the fact that she has burst the bubble on that, she's more than willing to put on a happy face and ride in the Vette'.

My little Danica Patrick
I met my wife when I had my C3. I sold it to buy a house when we got married and vowed to get one again someday. I got the GS in 2014 and she loves to ride in it, but she likes to drive it more.
|
My wife never set foot in my C5 and said she will not ride in my C6Z (thinks it a waste of money). Additionally, the Z causes the walls in the house to shake, which gives her a headache, so as a result I push it out of the garage and close the door before starting it. It okay though, my son loves riding with me! 😎
