I'm interested in doing a DIY, if the kits come pre-cut, fit my new C7 perfectly, and will equal or surpass the leading PPF products in performance on the market today.

I have installed these kits on 4 C7s and 2 C6. They are a great source of protection. The vendor is 1st class and very picky about what he sells. We used my 16 Z06 for the prototype and spent months getting it perfect. Ed Gentile is the owner of TKO and is easily accessible by phone. If you follow his instructions, work in a clean environment and have a bit of patience, you will love the outcome. Just my 2 cents.

Any Idea how to remove the factory clear stuff by the rear to add this?

Not yet. I have one in the making. We have to deal with and overcome the compound curves and angles so its easy for anyone to apply. We won't release it until that's accomplished. :thumbs:

Can I really do it myself without all the bubbles that I see on DIY window tint kits?

The answer is yes but it takes a helluva lot of trial and error.

I got 3 on perfectly and 3 that I just can't get the bubbles rubbed out, which leads me to a question for our OP: What's the word on pulling these things off and resetting them? I know how to pull on them from an angle but it sure looks like it stretches them out. What can I do to avoid stretching them out of shape?

For over 20 years, we have designed these kits for people with no experience applying film. After we are done creating a kit, we typically send it out to a random Corvette Forum member to test & get feedback.
