He called a dealer in ID the other day regarding a new 2019 1LT, A8, Z51 wheels and a few other options. MSRP was $66K, they IMMEDIATELY went down to $50,100 in price...Over the phone.

Naw... He's probably talking to Dave Smith in Idaho. They don't move many Corvette's there ( they do sell a hell of a lot of trucks tho) so they are and have been aggressive trying to sell Vette's that they sit on for months even years. I bought my base 2017 C7 coupe there that was loaded with mag ride and 2LT , Z51 wheels,carbon fiber dash etc etc for 53k and the MSRP was well over 70k. They had the car for over a year because as I said it's not what they do. I'd say he's getting a "normal deal" at that price from that dealer.

For $50k that's over a 24% discount. Make sure to clarify exactly what comprises that discount. Loyalty? Scratch $3k if you don't own one now.
