1964 Roadster update
Well its been a couple years since my last post. Still use this site almost daily for useful info.
My frame had some minor rust repair and paint. It still took over a year and a half to get the roller completely rebuilt. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...3c9c842135.jpg I drug the body out of the barn last fall. It has been on this dolly for over 10 years. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...3e64aa9402.jpg I have been chipping away at the many cracks and holes in the fiberglass mostly non cosmetic stuff. This one was rode hard back in the day and it shows. I keep reminding myself that I am building a driver not a show car. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...9d2d9de777.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...cb3cb73123.jpg I am hoping to get the two back together later this year after new wiring harnesses, radiator core support repair, heater rebuild, ect. |
Just keep at it, every chance you get and you'll get there. Glad to see it's not sleeping anymore.

The frame looks good. So you're making progress. These projects always take longer than expected. Just keep moving forward. You'll get there. Seeing results is a great motivator.

Glad to see it out on wheels. Keep it going.

Good work and progress go together. Are you leaving the flares on? Sitting lower than stock, and with a set of TT wheels, the car would be really cool looking. Dennis
