Sound panel below steering wheel

To gain access to clutch pedal you have to remove carpet panel below steering wheel. When you do that is there any wires or switches attached to it? does it just drop out leaving trunk release, courtesy light, etc in place? Anyone have pic of what it looks like above/behind the panel?
