They'll wash off

Don't leave them! I tried to be less OCD about wiping bugs off and one of them left a tiny, tiny gray mark. I showed a friend and he looked and looked and looked but couldn't see it. But it is THERE and I know it. :willy:

Was down in texas last fall when they were inundated with ''love bugs" the front of my rental was plastered with thousands. Stopped on route 20 at a rest stop and there was actually a flock of birds that would come up to the front of cars parked there to have a snack off the bumpers- literally - "meals on wheels"

EVERY C7 should have plastic wrap to some extent.
One of the benefits is insects are helluva lot easier to wipe off.;)

It's better than snow..

If the detail spray doesnt remove the bug spot a clay bar or maybe polishing compund will clean it up very nice :flag:

Detail spray, and a microfiber towel and good as new.

Yep, recently made a 5 hour round trip to the zMAX Dragway using all back roads, including one of my favorites Rt 218 in NC! Installed my Novistretch bra that keeps the bugs out of the grill/radiator as well! Plastic wrap can't do that!

For my usual short trips around home I used Turtle Wax, Tar & Bug Remover as soon as I get home. Works great on top of my Zaino.

Might I suggest you buy two identical Vettes, drive one like the car it is and store the other in a sealed container?

Murderer! ;-)

A friend had a graphic on the front of his car that said "Kills bugs fast".

Seems like this is how mine looks after every drive these days. However, thanks to the Suntek Ultra PPF on my car, this stuff wipes rights off with a microfiber towel and a little detail spray.

Paint Protection Film for the nose of your car and those things come off easily.

I don't use their detail spray, but their "Ultimate Wash and Wax Anywhere" makes the bugs just melt off.

C5Driver 05-17-2018 01:19 AM

wash it first then use car wax to deep clean

robertbruce 05-17-2018 04:42 AM

Keep it in the garage and never drive it. Problem solved.:hide:
