MRC upgrade on a 2019 GS
 

I'm a little confused on the need to upgrade the MRC. My 03 and 2013 had it and it's was great (FE55 I think it was called) I am new to the C7 world and purchased a 2019 SO Grand Sport with the A8 Apr 30th. The car was built in March 2018 according to the door plated. Do I need this upgrade or is what I have current??

Put your VIN into this site and compare the versions to the ones reported in the threads on this. If your versions are the same as the ones people show after they get the update don't I'd say you're good.

The upgrade doesn't apply to 2019s since they were built with it in the first place. The upgrade was basically takes the improved 2019 software and makes it available to the 14-18 cars.

I'm interested in a definitive answer to this as well...just had my 2019 Z07 GS delivered to the dealership on Friday...

I want to make sure I have the latest/greatest updates when I go pick her up next week. :thumbs:
