Sirius/XM $99.00 for 3 years (yes, 3 yrs@$99.00)
I haven't had Sirius/XM for about 5 years. Got a promo in the mail for a limited selection of 140 channels at $99.00 for 3 years plus an $18.91 music royalty fee. NO auto renewal at the end of 3 years.
This promo doesn't have all channels, but heck, it has all the channels I had listened to. I think I can handle $2.75 a month for 3 years. The contract says an early cancelation will get a refund at a pro-rata basis. |
I would be all over that. Just don't give them a CC#, if you forget to cancel after the three year period you will be automatically billed at the highest renewal rate.

Interesting. Today's mail I got a $5 a month for 6 months offer.
|
I too got the offer for 3 years, $99.00. I went for it and am enjoying it. When the 3 years are over I'll more than likely not renew unless they come up with another deal like this. Any higher a price and it wouldn't pay for me since I don't daily drive the car.
|
I got the same email, mine says this...
"Offer Details: The subscription plan you choose will automatically renew thereafter and you will be charged according to your chosen payment method at then-current rates. Fees and taxes apply. To cancel you must call us at 1-866-635-2349. See our Customer Agreement for complete terms. All fees and programming subject to change." My card will expire before the three years is up, but for the price it's good enough to take. |
Do they include most of the lower numbered channels? Channel 6 on up to channel 70 or so? I don't listen to Howard, sports, news, just the lower numbered music channels, this would be great. I have 3 subscriptions coming up for renewal, would be nice not to have to deal with them every 6 months or so...thanks.

I have 6 months for $30 on my other vehicle. They are trying hard to get my business on the Vette which is not a daily driver so I don’t care what deal they offer me except for this 3 years for $99 then I would cave in. I doubt they will offer this on my DD.

just re-upped this wk for $5 a month myself

I got a 12 month for $60 offer with the usual automatic renewal at full price. I did it for my truck as I will be taking it on several long road trips. I used a "one time" credit card number so they can not charge me again for renewal. Haven't bothered for the Vette as I just listen to NPR when I drive it to work and turn the system off when I'm charging through the mountains.
Something about 3 years for $99 sounds too good to be true. Is it really from Sirius, not some scammer? Maybe it's just for hard core holdouts? |

Is there someway to claim this offer without getting anything mailed to me? I wonder if I call and say I got this offer if they would give it to me, or I wonder if I just asked...
3 years for 99 bucks is a DAMN good deal I say and would grab it in a heartbeat... |
They will only do the 99 on older cars. Tried on my 17 Silverado and wouldn't do, just the 12 for $60 deal. Never give a credit card, will auto renew and had one car charged twice, poor customer service.

I don't care what the offer says...there will be a auto renew in the end. You can always get around it but a phone call and convulsions will be in order. I still renew every 6 mos (which is usually the cheapest way) but if I could get all my vehicles signed up $99+fees for 3 years I'd be standing in line all day!

not trying to hijack the thread, but you can go thru ebay and find car or home Sirius xm units with lifetime subscriptions already on them from 200 - 300 bucks a pop. I got one for my house a few years ago. Never have to worry about any future subscription offers or credit card charges, ever.
