Clutch master cylinder has a small leak

On my 96 vette, the clutch master cylinder has a small leak along the side by the bore. I want a good quality unit replacement. What is a good brand to use? Are there any USA or tawain made?

Is it leaking out the seal or a pinhole? many have had luck with the cast iron replacements.

I had my OEM ones rebuilt..

I just replaced my clutch master and slave with LUK

excellent quality fit and function for me, identical to what came out, not sure if those were originals or not.

Awesome you've had good luck with those, but I bought the LUK replacements and they started leaking within 2 months. Maybe I had a bad set but FYI YMMV

It's leaking on the port where the reserivor goes into. Where Is Luk available? Is it made in China?

I had the master and slave replaced shortly after buying my 86 in 2013. My mechanic used NAPA parts and so far they've worked just fine. Biggest issue was getting all the air bled out of it but once that was taken care of it's been fine ever since.

Good luck.

if it is leaking between the cup for the reservoir and the main body it probably cannot be saved, only Jim Jandik could tell you for sure.
