Me Too! I'm hoping I get to see them in person sometime, since we are local to each other. Can't decide if I want black/dark wheels or a brighter finish like yours. Also I like the LSX badge. When you posted you were adding those I wasn't sure but after seeing the picture I think they look good

I was a little leary when I ordered them, but they did turn out looking better on the car than I thought they would. They look better in person when you can see the whole car. All I know is I didn't want the OEM red-and-aluminum Z06 badge any more. Nothing else is red on my car. They stood out too much and just clashed with the rest of the car.

I will surely hit plenty of local shows in the area, so we are bound to run into each other. LOL

They kind of grow on you quickly, right? I am just glad they worked for me. After I stripped off the OEM badges, I placed the LSX badges on the car with some painter's tape just to see if I reeeeally wanted them on there before using the more permanent tape. LOL

The only thing that gets me is when people add too many emblems or emblems that note an incorrect model (like putting Z06 emblems on a non-Z06 car).

The old dude that previously owned my car did just that. Did the red and black Z06 looking interior, added the stick on brake ducts, front grill inserts, small GM logo on the lower rocker panels, Z06 AND 40th Anniversary fender badges......all of this on a 04 coupe.:rofl::rofl:

I think it might be the blue in the badge against your car's blue. I don't think it would look as if it came that way on other colors as much.

Yeah, I wouldn't have chosen any other color. The guy who makes them offers the "X" in a few color options, though. The colors are actually a wrinkle-finish powdercoat.

Interesting....now I just need someone to build me a 527-cube LS to match my soon-to-buy LSX badges...:D

Maybe he owns a shop that makes badges and wanted to have one of each to display.

thanks:thumbs:... when I first started modding the car I don't think I would have liked them but as it progressed it got to a point where I thought it might look good so I gave it a try and I like how it turned out

absolutely not.

I grew up with a father who ran a body shop painting classic Vettes. Maaco is awful. Even if you do your own prep, it still looks awful.

if you want to somehow end up with the over spray on your interior look, you goto Maaco.

Blech.
