[VIDEO] Mid-Engine C8 Corvette is Spotted and These Guys Go Nuts
The Mid-Engine C8 Corvettes are in Southwest Florida and these guys got over five minutes of video as they drive behind and sometimes side-by-side with the car.
The guys get a little too excited and one actually jumps out of the truck to try and grab a photo. http://www.corvetteblogger.com/2018/...-guys-go-nuts/ Please check out the videos on CorvetteBlogger! http://www.corvetteblogger.com/image.../061218_18.jpg http://www.corvetteblogger.com/image...061218_19b.jpg |
Ok im officially on the lookout now.. that is in my neck of the woods!
|
Short shifting auto (DCT?) like the other vids we've seen.
2nd video as it pulls away. Driver makes a big effort to hide face ........ hmmm, wonder why? |
You go Batman!
Interesting career and View. The tarp does not seem to go straight across from rear light to rear light on this mule. Seems to dip in the middle above the license plate. Very interesting |
Roll out the red carpet for these two gentleman ... they’re bigger the Wayne and Garth from Saturday night live!!! look at the video, car seems almost as beautiful as Southwest Florida! |
Thanks FVS. I agree fully. I know others have dismissed my perspective as wrong, but am still thinking what we are seeing in the middle is an air bleed spoiler (to reduce drag).
|
Ill be keeping my eyes open too! I've just about sold myself on one already and it hasnt even been unveiled yet
|
This car is gonna be absolutely stunning. |
Port Charlotte Fl. on duty on the lookout! Paul
|
guys be nice to these testers,
they're just trying to do their job |
Nice is always nice!
|
The rear definitely dips in the middle. May be a padding trick, but it sure dips. Top of rear corners appear to angle down as well.
|
Just to compare the positions of features.

That red thing is SO ugly!!!!!!:ack:
I’d rather drive this the creases under the camo cars don’t seem anything like it. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. |
Man I’d almost hate to be a Corvette mule/IVER driver. I get that people are really excited to see the car in person, and I know I’d act the same way, but the poor drivers are constantly bombarded with “paparazzi” in public. It must be difficult to get much work done on public roads whenever the drivers have to revert to some company protocols for evading photographers, hiding the car, hiding interior features, hiding their faces, or hiding the exhaust note all the time. They need to go hot-weather test the cars in the middle of the Namib desert to escape all the attention.

So, why the red handle? Just for the Camo ‘on and off’ or for even the fender(s)? :flag:

Could it be to screw threw a hole in a similar bracket like with the C7? :flag:
