Multiple World Records!!

According to the myChevrolet app, this has to be records of some sort....

Wow!

Drove from Dunsmuir, Ca to Corona, CA. Had no idea I was going that fast! 25 mpg to boot! Somehow managed no instances of exceeding 80 mph!:rock:???

mschuyler 06-13-2018 07:41 PM

Everyone gets scores like that. Their idea of hard braking and acceleration are idiotic. Just turn the damn thing off in options.

Did you look at his average speed?

Grand Slam 06-14-2018 01:43 AM

The reason you don't have speeds over 80 is because it was 4 digits and they can only show 3. ;-)

AaronZ51 06-14-2018 02:54 PM

Seriously impressed! 25mpg while averaging 277 mph? Must have done some serious mods to the car...

What am I supposed to conclude from the two dashes? My initial response was based on my own interaction with this system. Their idea of "hard braking" or "quick acceleration" is, IMO, a complete joke. I don't think the proverbial granny could pass muster with this system. Te most appalling thing about this is that they are tracking you and that it is an opt out situation. You have to intentionally turn it off.

Zymurgy 06-14-2018 03:30 PM

The Average Speed is 277 mph not "two dashes".

Soooo...the concept of humor eludes you based on having to opt-out? This was an awesome joke post. You do realize that nearly all corporations have "opt-out" policy, not "opt-in"? I understand some of your issue, especially when I saw the "Insurance sharing" opt-out. I didn't buy my C7 to completely observe all traffic laws.

Hrlyrdr22 06-14-2018 03:47 PM

Whoa you were flying!

Vetteman Jack 06-14-2018 03:52 PM

That is one very impressive average speed.:rock:

So what does that tell you about the system?

LimeRay 06-14-2018 08:27 PM

Oh vey. Get a sense of humor.

Avanti 06-14-2018 09:16 PM

Just proves without a doubt that everyone who CAN create an app... SHOULDN'T!

vettenevodrvr 06-14-2018 10:39 PM

The app does seem a bit flawed. At that average speed, I would have made the trip in 3 hours, not 9.

BobRBob 08-15-2019 09:00 AM

That's funny. Just one of many details contributing to the overall perception of quality...

plmmd 08-15-2019 09:37 AM

at 277 mph i doubt there was much braking going on at all- but when you did it must've been hard

JD C6 08-15-2019 03:48 PM

OMG so excited !

HorsePower Junkie 08-15-2019 06:40 PM

Where in the app can a person Opt Out of Driver Tracking?
