1969 Corvette L-46

30 Attachment(s)
1969 Corvette L-46 350/350 4-speed. All numbers matching. 72k original miles. Clean NC title in hand.

I purchased this car from a forum member, put a lot of love, time, and money into it, and planned on enjoying driving it for a long time. Unfortunately, circumstances have changed, and I need to sell it.

The motor and transmission have recently been rebuilt and have less than 500 miles on them. Engine was bored 30 over, balanced, and fitted with all new belts, hoses, water pump, alternator, etc. A new Centerforce clutch has been installed. The car is fitted with after-market headers. This car comes with the original ignition shielding as shown in the photo, which is not installed on the car.

This car came from the factory with power brakes, AU code 3.36 heavy duty posi, and factory headrest.

The carburetor has been replaced with a 1970 quadrajet, and is therefore not original.

This car has been repainted one time with base coat / clear coat in the original factory color of burgundy 988. The door jambs still retain original paint. The interior is all original except for new carpet. The seats show wear (see photo) but are not ripped or torn.

With your purchase, you will receive the receipts for recent work totaling around $9500. This includes motor and transmission as described above, plus new parts such as bumpers, weather stripping, master cylinder, BF Goodwrench radial T/A tires, battery, trailing arms, gas tank & sending unit, headlight actuators, tail light lenses, carpet, and more.

The car rides and drives great. It starts right up. It shifts smoothly with a new shifter linkage. All gauges work except for the clock.

Driver-quality paint is nice and shiny, but not show car paint. There are a few scratches and chips; the worst flaw is shown in the photos.

$28,500

That's a nice car. Seems like about the right price for a daily driver versus a show queen. Even so I can tell you've put some effort into her.

I sometimes wish I'd bought a 69 instead of a 68 but I'm a bit of a masochist. I paid $20.5 but have about $25 in it now.

My one regret is not buying a numbers car. You've got that in your favor selling it.
