Best Dealer on Long Island for service
Just bought a new to me 2016 stingray. Bought it in Florida and shipped it to Long Island.
Any one know of a Chevy dealer that has a "vette" specialist ? This would be for any potential warranty work. Thanks Joe |
Just dont goto Atlantic
|
Robert Chevrolet in Hicksville. Arnold chevy has a good Vette Tech, but they only work on Vettes they sold for warranty.

Good luck with finding a good dealer on LI that will service a Corvette they didn't sell.
In my experience, on my 4th Corvette I didn't buy locally (2 C6's Kerbeck; 2 C7's MacMulkin) - none even were willing to do safety recalls. I have heard Robert will work on non-sold Corvettes, and now that Paul Conte in Freeport was sold to East Hills - it is now East Hills Chevrolet of Freeport, maybe their customer service will be better, because as Paul Conte, their attitude and work on our Tahoe sucked. |

Most of the LI dealerships take the attitude that if you didn’t buy it from them they won’t do any warranty work. Definitely avoid 112 Chevorlet, they are absolutely the worst, the service manager is a nasty Bi#*h! I did however have a good experience with Eagle Chevorlet in Riverhead for service, but maybe that’s because I bought my Silverado from them. |
Dealer
Chevrolet of Smithtown will service your car even if you didn't buy it there. Service manager Lucas has long Corvette experience including RAMP in the past and Eagle. Greg Zito, service adviser 631-265-6010 ext 1005

I bought my C7 from Kerbeck and had the same issue. Arnold would not service it. It really is a task to get a Long Island dealer service your Corvette. I didnt even go for the
free oil changes. If they had any smarts they would service our cars to try and wow us with quality service and go to them for our next purchase. |
Arnolds service changed for the worse. I wouldn't buy anything from them now.

I see there are forum sponsors from other states selling extended warranties at discount prices. I was thinking of going this route when CPO runs out. Joe |
Robert is your best bet. All long island dealers suck
|
I had all my recall and warranty work done at Atlantic with no issues. The car was a CPO bought from Karl Chevy. . Not saying they were great but the work was satisfactory.
Good luck. |
They can really turn you away?? |
I had very good experiences at Chevrolet of Smithtown and I didn't buy my car there. I now take it to Unique Performance in Medford only because he is cheaper and he does excellent work and of course I don't have the warranty anymore.

The best dealer on long island for Corvette service is Robert Chevrolet in Hicksville NY.
The corvette tech is excellent and they have no problem servicing cars with or without warranty, and cars not purchased from their dealership. |
Arnold - no....
Arnold's good Vette Tech "Chris" is no longer there. The supposed Vette Tech replacement overfilled my oil....and it's not even a Z51 and then the service writer argued with me about how much oil it should have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gets better, after I tell him take a quart out NOW, he comes back and says "we took out a half quart"!!!! Robert's Vette Tech is good, BUT be very careful about how they will "take care" your vette. My son had to leave his car overnight and while they kept in inside, it was where the techs came in and out. Found scratches on it and his C6 ZO6's fog light was knocked out. Just sayin'..... |
crossed flags. other than Robert chevy who do you recommend. I have been to Robert once since i got my car two months ago
and I thought they were very good. |
I am in Queens and have used Empire Huntington Chevrolet. They have a full time vette tech.
Brought two different corvettes there that were bought from dealers out of state and they had no issues working on them, a C7 and C8. They accepted my warranty repair, no problems. only they are very booked up in advance usually a few weeks due to high volume. They also have night owl drop off where you van leave the car after hours and put the key in their locked drop box. And they are fairy close to the LIRR to get back to Queens. ( long one hour ride) |
